Guerrilla Garden Adventures is currently fully staffed.
However as readership expands, we will be forced to look for people with a great sense of humor coupled with a great work ethic for the following possible positions:

 

Editor:

Required to proofread (correct spelling, grammar and layout), and copy edit (check content, impose consistent styles and reword or rewrite). However, until Guerrilla Garden Adventures is in a position to hire an editor feel FREE to send an email with any editing suggestions you may have. Also feel FREE to suggest word changes to potentially keep Guerrilla Garden Adventures from being sued.
Note: Extreme, Grammar-Nazis without a sense of humor need not apply and any excessive rant type emails from such individuals shall be blocked.

 

Accountant:

This position will create financial transactions and financial reports to help assess the company’s financial standing from a shoe box of receipts that will be turned in monthly. Must be willing to advise Guerrilla Garden Adventures of any tax write offs that may be legally incurred while keeping the company within the guidelines of the CRA. This may also include the unpleasantness of telling Brenda Dyck the Boss at Guerrilla Garden Adventures that Margaritas are not a legitimate tax deductible expense even if it was a business meeting with the Booking Agent.

 

Booking Agent:

The person in charge of booking Guerrilla Garden Adventure gigs. Should be skilled at matching the Guerrilla Garden Adventures Company with appropriate venues and audiences, while ultimately helping to increase the company’s exposure within the Pacific Northwest. In some cases, the agent will work closely with Brenda Dyck the Boss at Guerrilla Garden Adventures to help strategize about how to reach both her career and company goals. Margaritas may or may not be included depending on how long it takes to wear the accountant down.

 

VP of Document and Email Engineering and Manipulation:

A clerical/organizational type job involving a lot of tedious and repetitive paper and email related work. Creatives need not apply for this position as we already have enough creative types already working at Guerrilla Garden Adventures who need their paper and electronic bits taken care of (which is where you would come in).

 

Abnormal Situation Manager:

What can I say other than I (Brenda Dyck) would like to be able to hire someone else to deal with any abnormal business type situations that may ensue. Legal experience will be considered an asset.
